Centered around the rich mural scene of Philadelphia, this project seeks to expand its scope to other cities worldwide, emphasizing the universal power of murals as tools for storytelling, acceptance, and social connection. The exhibition is tailored for individuals passionate about art, history, and community engagement. This includes local and international art enthusiasts, community advocates, educators and students, urban planners interested in cultural preservation.
Upon entering the exhibit, visitors are faced with the first form of wall art that plagued Philadelphia. The graffiti wall lays the foundation for Philly’s mural tradition by honoring its most influential artists like “Cornbread”. Layered textures and spray-paint visuals capture the rebellious energy that still shapes street art today.
A dedicated screen plays time-lapse videos capturing murals from first sketch to final brushstroke, capturing the intricate process of bringing massive works of art to life.
A historical timeline that traces the evolution of Philadelphia’s mural scene, showcasing its transformation from grassroots street art to an internationally recognized movement, making stops at Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, which changed the course of the city’s art scene forever.

At the end of the exhibition, visitors can see digital wall showcasing what others have made during their time with the vision vault, using their own unique creative path
